1st week in India

Sorry for taking such a long time to update my blog! I really am :)

India is like my pre-graduation escapade!!! You guys might be laughing but this is the 1st time i had my own passport! no more group! ahahaa

Its different when you are far away from home. You gotta figure out everything yourself and I am going to finish it strong! :)

My first chop and it spell I.N.D.I.A!! :)

Thumbs up for the IAESTE programme! IAESTE stands for International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience in full. They provide students with related experience according to their courses and I personally feel its a good exposure.

My first transit was in Singapore! I love the place so so much! Its so well equipped. And according to Yy its the 2nd best airport in the whole world or Asia? correct me if I am wrong kay

They have free internet excess. And its everywhere! Wii games too :P

The things I like the most is the free local call! ahaha I used it to call Ms. Lim

Cheapo like me, we make full use of the FOC and chat through the phone for quite some time ha? Sorry Yy, I made you walk here n there just to find out, we're totally at different place! :(

At Bangalore (Bengaluru) airport! The security here were so strict! And I was stranded there for 7 hours! owh no!!! Its unamusing......draggy....

Fyi, India was 2hours and 30min earlier compared to M'sia. So I won some time here. haha

My total luggage was 22.32 kg! And I was carrying it all the time! :(

I'm back. Instead of reminiscing what i've been doing since last year (2009), lets just recall what's up this month.

My first time participating in the penang bridge run. Its kind of like a challenging task since i am super duper lousy in running.

Tak sampai 1km i think i will "terhegeh-hegeh" di tepi jalan d ^_^""" ( i swear )

there 4 of us at the starting point.
it was a HOT sauna in the crowd! gosh! belum lari already sweat like nobody's business.

We were so lucky, the weather is simply breezey n cloudy enuf.

There were some drizzles during the race, free natural source toner for face!! or is it free hujan acid?? hahaha

But who cares??!! u just cant wait to reach the end point!

I suggested my aunt to pura-pura pengsan so that i can tumpang sekali in the ambulance, but its to no avail!! sigh....

Ur foot hurts, u r dying for water and short of oxygen!! phew!

We managed to finish within 1 n a half hour for 10km!!!!

c thats my HAPPY face when i saw the banana!!! yums

made apple crumble yest (*tues) for pot-luck at dharsh house
of cos clumsy n messy ppl like me didnt make any preparation the day before plus waking up at 10am! its a havoc!

rush to sunshine to buy my last min ingredients (green apples + butter + sugar) trying to be smart to skip the steps! my apple crumble tak boleh masak after in the oven for 1 hour! :( so i hv to cook it traditionally with gas stove....

then, as i busy cleaning up the utensil n ready to be dried outside, a glimpse of black silky long creature creeps me up!! i called my aunts for help of course but nobody pick up! phek chek gila. while waiting, i search high n low for sulphur n spread it at each corner of the doors n window panes!

called 103 for directories... n u know wat! when u're at the panicking point n the stupid voice mail irritates u by asking ur language preference, what kind of servies u needed and the stupid stupid introductory (selamat petang, terima kasih kerana menggunakan perkhidmatan telefon direktori, saya bla bla bla.............) can u imagine that!!!!!

here comes the "B", finally called the BOMBA' s bayan baru branch no :04-6434444
the fireman was also another whinning headache! just pick up the phone and ask wats the prob la!!? instead he started his long lengthen introductory!! gila aku dibuat mereka!! if my hs was on fire! i am sure they wasted 3 mins!!

after i finish my description he ask me stupid ques again! are u sure its ular? or biawak? OMG really OMG!!!

those red saviours finally turn up with the big RED truck! after few struggles! they manage to

caught it. n rupa-rupanya its a baby COBRA....at least i am not lying or rabun mata

as i was waiting for my hair to dry... thought of just rambling something

i love how u tried drying up my hair and comb my once long messy hair (*macam ju-on) hahaha

n tying a pony tail (though it was a failure) when my hands are dirty

miss that :)

its EXAM SEASON!!! just hope it pass quick! n today is just the 1st day!!! :(

hari ini, aku makan besar!
dari pagi sampai malam
frm my favourite banana-raisins-pancake, wantan mee to sushi.. :) yums**
my coursemates n i skipped lunch after a wonderful heavy breakfast
save our stomach to wallup the sushies.. so u could really imagine our stomach playing very loud drums by 4.45pm!!!

The first thing we do when we landed on qb mall is to "ran" to sushi king!! (mengada sikit)
this is the first time i manage to catch the promo. i am usually the late-dated! :(
U wouldnt want to know how long is the queue. frm sushi king upon reaching nandos i think!!
CRAZZEEE....
we're just so lucky by 20 mins...phew!
i spent less than 20bucks after filling up all the big n tiny spaces in my big stomach! BURRPP!! *excuse me.. grins ^^

Quarter-Life Crisis

i do realise i like grabbing stuff from ppl.. lols :D

The story goes.....

It is when you stop going along with the crowd and start realizing that there are many things about yourself that you didn't know and may not like.
You start feeling insecure and wonder where you will be in a year or two, but then get scared because you barely know where you are now.

You start realizing that people are selfish and that, maybe, those friends that you thought you were so close to aren't exactly the greatest people you have ever met, and the people you have lost touch with are some of the most important ones.

What you don't recognize is that they are realizing that too, and they aren't really cold, catty, mean or insincere but that they are as confused as you.

You look at what you're studying...and it is not even close to what you thought you would be doing, or maybe you are looking for a job and realizing that you are going to have to start at the bottom and that scares you.

Your opinions have gotten stronger. You see what others are doing and find yourself judging more than usual because suddenly you realize that you have certain boundaries in your life and are constantly adding things to your list of what is acceptable and what isn't.

One minute, you are insecure and then the next, secure.

You laugh and cry with the greatest force of your life. You feel alone and scared and confused.

Suddenly, change is the enemy and you try to cling onto the past with dear life, but soon realize that the past is drifting further and further away, and there is nothing to do but stay where you are or move forward.

You get your heart broken..
and wonder how someone you loved could do such damage to you

Or you lie in bed and wonder why you can't meet anyone decent enough that you want to get to know better. Or maybe you love someone but love someone else too and cannot figure out why you are doing this because you know that you aren't a bad person.

Getting wasted & acting like an idiot starts to look pathetic.

You go through the same emotions and questions over and over, and talk with your friends about the same topics because you cannot seem to make a decision.

You worry about the future, money, loans and making a life for yourself... and while winning the race would be great, right now you'd just like to be a contender!

What you may not realize is that EVERYONE reading this relates to it.

We are all in our best & our worst of times, trying as hard as we can to figure this whole thing out.

So share this with other twenty-ish friends... Maybe it will help someone feel like they aren't alone in their state of confusion :)
